SAN JOSE, CALIF. — Jan 30, 2024 — ScreenBeam Inc., a global leader in wireless display and collaboration solutions, announces its latest K-12 education solution, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2. With teacher and instructor feedback in mind, we re-designed the product as a Smart platform, bringing key features and tools to empower collaboration between teachers and students. The ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 will debut at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona from January 30 to February 3rd, 2024.

At ScreenBeam, we include tools that simplify the solution and make each user’s life easier. The integrated Whiteboard application on the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 enables a collaborative whiteboard experience that launches directly from your interactive flat panel display without changing sources, pushing buttons, or re-connecting to the display. The ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 provides the flexibility needed to better engage with students anywhere in the classroom versus always being tethered to the front of the room.

“Modern education can only be fully realized when teachers teach and are not distracted by complicated or unreliable technology. Embracing the Smart device concept, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 is designed to minimize the distraction of technology in the classroom,” said David Lopez, Director of Education Strategy at ScreenBeam, “while fully empowering the instructor to engage the students directly and utilize the entire learning space.”

The ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 leverages the proven reliability and performance of the award-winning ScreenBeam 1000 while putting the teaching tools where they are most effective for the instructor. This Smart approach shifts investments allowing schools to place more capable devices in the instructor’s hands for a more flexible and engaged learning environment. Increased onboard platform storage and memory enhances flexibility for more smart features, advanced classroom management and orchestration, and planned future expansions.

The ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 delivers an innovative, affordable, intuitive teacher and student experience with advanced technology, providing simplicity and scalability for deployment and management.
